Welcome to Costa Teguise Golf, a golf course surrounded by the spectacular landscape of the island of Lanzarote, declared biosphere reserve by UNESCO.

Our golf course was defined by Severiano Ballesteros as the best design of the Canary Islands and a course that makes you use all resources available. Only a few are able to defeat Costa Teguise Golf, come and be the next one!!

With its over 3.500 palms, Costa Teguise Golf is an oasis surrounded by the breathtaking volcanic landscape of the island of Lanzarote. A golf course designed in 1978 by the famous architect John Harris, where playing golf provides an incredible experience while being in a beautiful environment at the side of an old volcano.

The course is designed to be both smooth and varied. Its numerous doglegs stimulate players and require them to bring all their clubs into play. It even represents a challenge for professional players, whilst offering an attractive and enjoyable game for those of more modest skills. The “picon” (volcanic sand) and the wind add an extra ingredient to the pleasure of playing each hole.
Near the club, no further than 50 meters away, you will find a Drive Range, putting green, pitch and putt and a par 3 hole to practise.

"If this course was anywhere else in the world, I would have graded it as poor. But because it was in Lanzarote, built on lava rock, with very limited rainfall and harsh winds and storms and the golf course managed to develop greens they had… wow. What an accomplishment. The staff were excellent. They were very accommodating to our needs. The grounds keepers were working hard every day. Yes the winds were very strong. It was a challenge for sure, with a lovely ocean/ volcano view" - Anna and Rocco

"We read reviews before we arrived. They were not overly positive. Before golfing, we had the opportunity worked to tour the island of Lanzarote. We realized the island was completely covered by lava, rock and sand. We also learned that there is approximately 15-20 days of rain per year. When we arrived at the golf course, and golfed 9 days, we were shocked and amazed that there was grass growing, either in limited sections or covered the whole fairway in some cases. The grounds crew worked hard at keeping conditions as best as possible- the irrigation system was very extensive and always working. Our overall review is very good, very different, some good challenging holes and I only lost 4 balls during my 9 days playing! The staff were excellent and very flexible with changes we needed to make. If we were geographically not that far, we would definitely return!" - Anna from Canada
