"We found the whole course was generally in a very good condition. The greens were fast and tricky to read and play. The course staff were very friendly and helpful in making your visit a pleasant experience. We have now played it three times during this holiday and have a further two games there." - Bob Garner

"The course is in good condition. Access to the Hills Clubhouse from the adjacent road is restricted to buggies and pedestrians due to civil engineering roadworkings but a shuttle buggy is in operation from the nearby car park this is availed by ringing the clubhouse on your cell phone."

"The condition of large sections of the fairways had been hollow tined and the resulting debris has not been removed hence we hadto lift and place our balls after brushing the debris to one side. Considering the price we had to pay to play this condition was dissapointing. This last comment regarding the high green fee applies to the Ruins course whose bunkers were in a disgraceful condition. (We plaled there on the 26th Sept.)"
