"This is a challenging mix of links and parkland layout. There is plenty of variety from hole to hole with some fearsome bunkers. It is however very playable and overall in good condition. Some of the greens were showing signs of ware, more akin to a resort course than a tier one destination course. Pace of play was good." - Chris

"This was our least popular course on our recent trip to Valencia. The course has a great layout with some interesting holes but needs a lot more care and attention if it is to recover and retain its reputation. The greens were overly soft with much damage, the tees had been scarified but the tees had not been moved for several days so the actual teeing area was bald and uneven. The bunkers were inconsistent and badly maintained so few players seem to bother raking their footprints. Around the greens the approaches had not been consistently mowed, so varied between lush and bare. Service in the pro shop and bar was slow and off-hand. All in all it gave the impression that the owners were resting on their laurels and not maintaining the historical quality of what was a great course in the past. We will not be returning." - Ray
