El Higueral Golf course Course: El Higueral Golf course Country: SPAIN, Region: Andalucia, Province: Malaga, Coast: Costa del Sol    El Hiqueral is a new 9 hole course, located on the Benahavis road. There are plans to build another nine. The layout of the course is great. Despite that this course is very short it is far from easy. Almost every hole is involves water. Buggies are available but the course is recommended to walk. Course reviews:

"Worth the money, but a very generous 4-star rating.
Well maintained and walkable 9-hole course with a wide variety of holes.
But bear in mind, there are no practice areas, at all. And the facilities around the pro shop are limited to one bathroom and just a snack bar.
Since we knew this beforehand, we adjusted accordingly and will return.
PS: for women with more than 160m off the box, the red tees are way too short. (the blue tees were not prepared)
