Located in the stunning landscape of the Costa del Sol, San Roque Golf & Resort distinguishes itself as an iconic European golf destination, where tradition and innovation intertwine in a spectacular setting. Designed by Perry Dye in collaboration with golf legend Severiano Ballesteros, our course has not only witnessed the evolution of golf, but has also served as the setting for prestigious events such as the 2006 Spanish Open and several finals of the European Tour Qualifying School.

"We loved the layout of the course.. It is so beautiful with some really interesting holes and some that are just spectacular.. It is well priced for the quality of the course. If there is a downside, it was that some of the areas around the greens were a little scruffy with bare lies making chipping difficult but this would not put me off returning. The staff are friendly and the food at the grill was excellent!" - Tony Byrne

Hey Golf Service, Qlquick feedback on San Roque New today. Unfortunately, the current course condition is really poor. Large areas are completely dry, there is a lot of weed, several areas are badly maintained or poorly cut, and there is also significant damage from wild boars. The green are full of dry and dead areas and weed Overall, it looks like the course has had very limited maintenance for quite some time.

I actually enjoyed playing the layout and shot an 86, finishing in 2h20, so this is not about the course itself. It is purely about its current condition. In my view, it is simply not worth the current green fee and so far the worst course at the Costa del Golf in 2026

Just a friendly heads-up as I have been very happy with the other courses and your service. You may want to check the current condition before recommending or selling San Roque New to other customers.
