The Platja de Pals golf course has an extraordinary landscape with its location on coastal dunes maintained by the planting of pine trees at the beginning of the 20th century. The course is also close to the sea which lies some 500 metres away. It is the oldest course on the Costa Brava (it was opened in 1966). Today this gently landscaped course boasts an extensive pine wood with trees of over a hundred years old.
