"We walked with carry bags.. It worked We Love walking and hate driving but we would not recommend it. The Course is great what We like - courses where the fairways are not next to each other And Teeboxes that are a bit higher where you see where to play especially downhill. "Challenging course in bad shape! Apart from the greens the course maintenance was really disappointing (tee boxes, fairways, bunkers). The course layout has a lot of elevation changes and pretty tight fairways, especially on the first and last four holes. Precision is key here. We walked the course as a threeball with our e-trolleys, it took us 4:30h, but apart from the up- and downhill sections there are some longer walk ways between the holes. Hence, I cannot recommend to walk this course. We used the Villa Padierna 2-course package (with Los Flamingos) and paid about €170 p.P., which was an ok deal. Charging €100+ for just Alferini as a regular rate is not justified, at all." - Anonymous

"But the buggy broke down on the 1st tee and we had to wait 25! Minutes before someone came with a new buggy. Secondly there are very sharp triangular metal poles indicating hazards. When searching for a ball I accidentally hit one and had a very deep flesh wound on my right lower leg. In the hospital they needed 28 stitches to repair the wound. REMOVE these metal hazard stakes and use normal wooden ones. A very bad experience!!!" - Jim

"I played Alferini GC on Saturday 2nd April with my two sons who are both good standard golfers and despite the weather, we thoroughly enjoyed both the challenge the course presented and the overall condition. Bearing in mind the deluge of rain during March, the greens and fairways were excellent. The tee's were a little tired, but more than acceptable. "The course itself it outstanding, the design challenging, you‘ll need extra balls :) There are several damages on the fairways from wild boars, therefore the greenfee is to high, as I would expect a perfect setup. The greens are fast and a bit tricky. Carts are recommended if you are not in a very good condition. 5 hrs. Free parking in the clubhouse is very the public parking is quite far away. " - HHA
