Baviera Golf course

"The course is in really good condition. I have played here the last three eastern weeks and it has never been this good. This week we have played Baviera, Añoreta, Los Moriscos and Parador de Málaga, and Baviera is by far the best. The only this on the con side is that players are very bad at repairing their ball marks on the greens. There are several really deep marks that are impossible to miss." - Joakim

"Very good value if played in twilight. Buggy not needed although there are a couple of long walks between holes. Conditions not bad with decent bunkers that I went in. Par 3 15th signature hole particularly if played from the tee by the 14th green. Also the par 3 10th over water again is another signature hole. Has a number of tricky holes where a driver is not recommended. Nice clubhouse and staff." - Spiggy

"Unfortunately the greens had just been pole forked as part of their maintenance and were extremely bumpy. Other parts of the course seamed scorched and in poor condition. Some of the nets to protect the surrounding apartments were off putting but I understand their necessity. However I have to say the staff in the pro shop were extremely helpful." - Anonymous

"Good quality on greens and some of the bunkers (with new sand). But the fairways is to dry and some of the holes there are too sloping fairways (e.g. hole 12, sloping heavy to the right). Also, the price is much higher if I book with Golf service instead of Bavieras own website. I thought that you guys at Golf service always offered the best price. " - Jan

"Not the best located course on the Costa but does have some nice views. Course was in fairly decent condition for the time of year and is good value for money especially twilight rates. It’s not the most exciting course but is a good test of gold. The pin positions were tricky making many 3 puts. Favourite hole par 3 15th downhill with water in front of the green. 17 also a good hole with drive over water to an uphill fairway leaving a long downhill hill shot to get on the green in regulation.Nice club house and facilities with friendly staff. There are a few walks between green and tee on the back 9 but buggies are not necessary." - Spiggy

"I think that sometimes tee shots are to near houses, playing with a "wall" of nets along the tee is a bit disturbing. Go for the green on the first hole, or be carful with the length. We did the mistake to play it conservative, which gave us impossible lays, as we hit it much to far. Hard to predict the downhill impact, at least the first time you play. " - Michael Lagerlöf

"Not the most exciting layout and not one of the better locations either. It’s close to the main road and not Visually enchanting was however in good condition. Also the pace of play was quick for out here. 3 1/2 hours for a round and that was with plenty of players on the course. Buggy not necessary as relatively flat course. Some might however wish for one as there are a few holes with a bit of distance between green and tee and they are a bit hilly but there were hardly any buggies being used. Staff were very friendly. Not a difficult course the back 9 however is quite a bit tighter than the front 9. A short course but with 2 challenging long par 5s the 4th and 12th. Prettiest hole downhill par 3 15th. Definitely worth a visit as not expensive either." - Spiggy

"Improvement since last year and I am sure that these improvements will continue. So next year the rating most likely will be 4 ?? What I expect is that the first hole will be a bit more of a golf hole, by cutting down the right side and make it more possible to go straighter to the green" - Lars

"Overall a nice course. I love that you have different colors of the flags to give me the information of where the hole is at the moment.
