Areas which let them down are not allowing buggies on over half of the holes and this is a hilly course causing long walks for some shots. Plus no marshals on the course so our round took over 5 hours . Also no drinks carts available. " - Mike

"Nice clubhouse with friendly staff. Quite a challenging course in places. Like that it has 6 par 3s and 4s and 5s. The 11th is not a long par 5 but is a real challenge with slopes and trees making it tricky. The overall layout is quite Quirky like many of the courses on the Costa. Rounds here can often be slow as the groups tend to get held up coming to the par3 10th. Overall not bad value." - Spiggy

"Beautiful course but difficult for a tourist. Too many holes with difficulty to know where I should aim. It would be nice if there were more specific hole maps with distances. "The price-Performance Ratio is very good. Very friendly Service with starting gift( Marker, Tees, pitchfork in a small bag)On the scorecard are the new toilets marked, hole 10 is a new halfway house with Sandwiches ,hot coffee Open already at 9.00. They are still working on the course, Walls, paths, surroundings at a few holes. The Layout is challenging and Interesting, narrow Fairways,Not for beginners. The Greens were a Little soft because of the rain the days before. The menuecard at hole 19 is very lush, my salad with Avocado and fruits really good. Normal prices!!!" - Anonymous

"This is a hilly course and a buggy is recommended. It has some lovely holes but also some odd ones too. The par 5 17th and par 5 11th are very tricky and odd designs. The closing par 3 18th is a good finishing hole. The par 4 8th is another interesting one as you either lay up with an iron or fade a drive round the corner. The course overall was in decent condition. Nice clubhouse and staff. There is one big problem playing this course as in all the times I’ve played I’ve never got round in under 5 hours!" - Spiggy

"So I read some really bad reviews before playing today. I thought the layout to be superb. Fairways great. Greens near perfect. Bunkers poor. Tees excellent. Clubhouse one of the nicest. The 17th is a horror. A double bending par 5 with a ditch that really should not be there but can catch a long drive or a short drive and long second shot. Nothing bad to say about the course and it certainly compares very well to others in the area. Playing after the 1st March is expensive and I think too expensive. I would not recommended this for high handicap players as it’s quite hard, very few flat lies and with potential to lose a lot of balls! "The fairways is in a bad condition. This has been under a number of years. The worst was the slow play. Fist you have to wait 20 minutes foa buggy, already there a delay and then the play was over 5 hours and that is not acceptable. You have to do something about that." - Kent Lundström

"Dank der Wegbeschreibung von Golfservice haben wir den Platz gefunden. Das letzte Stück führt durch eine Großbaustelle, danach braucht man eine Autowäsche. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der Platz wurde offensichtlich erleichtert, denn viele Abschläge wurden vorverlegt. Einige blinde Grüns, besonders Loch 17. Zustand der Fairways entspricht der Trockenheit, Grüns mit vielen Pitchmarken, Bunker ok. Der Platz ist sehr bergig mit teilweise langen Wegen, daher Buggy sehr empfehlenswert. "I've been playing Chaparral for well over 20 years. I've always enjoyed the layout with the exceptions of the 12th and 17th. The main problem has always been the condition of the tee boxes. However this time the greens were in dreadful condition. They looked like it was a combination of unrepaired pitch marks, damage from wildlife and poor cutting. Le parcours lui même est vraiment ludique, ça tourne dans tous les sens avec quelques trous que l’on peut attaquer en coupant les dog leg.
