"Course in pretty good condition as was the bunker I went in. Buggy hugely recommended as it’s very hilly and green to the next tee on some holes are a long way. Got round in 4 hours which is good for out here. Fairly basic clubhouse but with friendly staff. Front 9 not too challenging with many short par 4s although slightly uphill. Hole 8 however is a very long massively downhill par 5 followed by a very good tricky par 4. The back 9 is more challenging and interesting. Starting with a fantastic par 4 with a tricky second shot needed to avoid water in front of the green. This is followed by 3 par 3s!!!! The remaining holes are all good with care needed on the 16th with your tee shot. The round finishes with another par 3. Lovely one with water to be carried to a two tier green. Another quirky course but great fun to play and not expensive!" - Spiggy

En Caddy Master nos atendieron muy bien la Srta. Luz y su compañera (lo siento no sé su nombre). Recomendaría lo siguiente: 1. permitir acercarse un poco más a los greens con buggy, porque hay que coger varios palos para golpes cortos y caminar con ellos bastante para terminar el hoyo. 2. señalar mejor la dirección al siguiente hoyo Hice la reserva con golf-service, donde, como siempre, me atendió Teresia, muy atentamente y con mucha profesionalidad. "Great course - we all thought better than Valle Romana although club house at VR is much nicer I didn’t feel it was very friendly. No problems at Dona Julia. "This course feels better every time I play it. It’s an unusual lay out with 3 par 3 in a row. The first 7 holes bar 1 are uphill. Then a long downhill par 5 followed by 2 tough par 4s. For me the most interesting hole is the par 4 16th. Tempting to try and drive the green but trouble if you miss as narrow fairway and OOB both sides. A buggy is well recommended. The gap between tee and greens on some holes is massive and it’s well hilly. The course was in good condition . Not the best bunkers but ok. Friendly staff but not the best club house. This is good value for out here. Low handicap players would however consider it rather an odd course." - Spiggy

"The clubhouse is rather simple. The staff is friendly.The terrace is almost on the street and not inviting. The parking is in front of the entrance of the course, but very busy. The course is nice, with some defiant , hilly holes, but mostly wide faireways. On a few holes the surrounding is ugly (appartement frames in decline), but on other holes there are marvellous see views. A buggy is recommended (some hilly holes and some distance to walk between some holes).The buggy paths are ok. In conclusion a very enjoyable course." - Van Baden Marc

Buggy recommended, because the place is very busy and 90% of the guests are using buggies. Sunrise offers are not recommended, because the first two tee times they sell are in the dark. "We could have caught this course on an off day and therefore have marked it as good to give it the benefit of the doubt. When we played it a number of the greens had been significantly sanded which meant putting was poor on the greens on the day. Further the fairways had just been cut resulting in large amounts of grass deposits on the fairways which brought down the playing experience on the day. The tee positions had not been cut at all and were particular untidy which was not expected. With a little care and attention this could be a great course with it laid out well and more forgiving to the higher handicapper. Would recommend and probably play again in the future." - Matt

"This course was a real pleasure to play. Well maintained overall with tee boxes, fairways and greens all good condition. The flow and variety of holes was excellent and it was a really enjoyable round. Some stunning scenery of the mountains and the sea makes it really pleasant. We had a buggy, and I would say this is a must as there are some long distances between some holes. Having played most courses up the coastline this will certainly be on the return list. "Interesting strange course layout. Uphill first 7 holes then back down again. Then you get 3 par 3s in a row! There are a number of very tough holes. Views are lovely. A buggy is essential. The distance between the par 3 11th and 12th is massive. There are other long trips from green to next tee. The course was in good condition decent fairways, greens and the bunkers not too bad. Staff friendly enough. Not much of a clubhouse though. It’s not a great course but it’s a lot of fun to play." - Spiggy

There are 3 par 3’s in a row on the back 9! A buggy is essential for this course. Apart from the hills the gaps between greens and tees are big with one being about a minute gap in a buggy! Staff friendly. Not a great clubhouse. A course however that a good score to be had as it’s quite a short one. All in all not bad value for what it is." - Spiggy
