El Bosque Golf course

"Last time we player El Bosque I rated it as good and praised the green keeping. This time I regret to say we were at the wrong end of the maintenance regime. It is clearly a main maintenance week, the approach to nearly every green from 20 yards out was covered in layers of sand. This killed the ball dead and was difficult to play off. I fully realise that this is part of a process essential to having a top quality course; my complaint is that we were not informed when we booked nor at check in and we paid full rates. Our enjoyment of a great track was significantly curtailed and my opinion of the operation coloured. A shame!! " - Chris

"El Bosque is a well laid out and very well kept course. From tee to green it was well maintained. Most of the fairways are generous and reasonably forgiving but the approach’s and greens add more of a challenge. The greens were in good condition but a little slow. We played behind the tail end of a tournament and hence the Pace of play was somewhat slower than one would normally expect. " - Chris

"Lovely, interesting and challenging lay-out and in good condition despite the recent heavy rain. Quite hilly so a buggy is useful but Pro shop and caddy master both friendly and helpful, and the service in the restaurant was good also. Really enjoyed both our rounds here, coming back after a 15 year absence, and hope to be back again sooner." - Ray

"The course is beautiful My husband’s opinion to much bunkers, ha ha The layout book of the course is nice But the routing deserves more attention. The buggy was good and staff was friendlly and helpful We don’t like the atmosphere on the terrace" - Mieke Spackler
