La Hacienda Heathland Golf course

"A fun course to play and a buggy essential as very hilly and some long distances between holes. Rather bizarrely with such a hilly course most of the tee shots are downhill. They’ve sensibly made a couple of changes to some of the holes particularly the 18th which is now a par5 . Nice club and food with very friendly staff. My only criticism of this course is that it has dramatically gone up in price which it doesn’t really merit." - Spiggy

Les verts étaient en excellente conditions. Le parcours est très accidenté, selon nous le buggy est essentiel. Les trous 10, 11 et 13 offrent des vues magnifiques. Le service client était impeccable: accueil, préposé aux départs, personnel du restaurant. C’est notre premier parcours en Espagne donc difficile pour nous de le comparer d’où la côté BIEN. "Very challenging long championship course. Greens, fairways and tees in great condition. Definitely a poorer cousin to the links course but still a very decent test of golf. Suits lower handicap golfers. The bar restaurant is in a really nice setting and the food and drink is excellent albeit the service a little slow. Definitely worth a look but if you’re only going to play one course play the Links. " - Anonymous

"Great views, excellent welcome. Bags are placed on buggy, nice clubhouse. First holes it's important to stay on the fairway, rough is challenging. Nice hilly course, some par 4's a bit over 250 meters, some way more than 400 meters. And the short ones definitely aren't the easiest ones.... Hole 14 requires a good tee shot and has an impressive view. Greens were superb, a bit soft but gives you good control. Bunkers good as well. We'll surely come back to play the links course." - CJ

"Interesting course layout with plenty of length although many tee shots are down hill. Very picturesque. Wide fairways. The course was in pretty good condition with good bunkers and decent greens. A buggy is essential due to not just the hills but the distances between some of the greens to the next tee. Friendly staff. All in all decent value for money with a twilight tee." - Spiggy

"Why take the tee back on 11? The hole is really a bad hole as it is but now its horrible. There is no landning zon anywhere. It all falls down right. Second comment is that you need to make it shorter. With new 11 the course stretch 6150 from yellow for par 72 and over 5250 for ladies red… I get half a stroke extra on slope. "Course was in good condition and is always fun to play especially the best holes which for me are the middle 10. Also 4 hours wasn’t too bad for out here. Once you’ve played it a few times makes it much easier especially reading the greens. Good buggy paths and buggies are 100% essential for this course as being hilly and some big distances from green to next tee. Nice staff. "Schlechte Wetterlage ( starker Regen, Sturm usw.) nur 7 Löcher gespielt. Loch 9 nicht beim Clubhaus!!! Die ersten 6 Löcher sind nicht sehr interessant. Die weiteren Löcher sehen attraktiver aus. Kurs ist hügelig und hat relativ breite Spielbahnen. Greens, Fairways und Abschläge guter Zustand. Buggy unbedingt erforderlich. Pfade oft sehr steil und bei Regen rutschig - nicht ungefährlich. Personal sehr freundlich. Haben einen Gutschein für 9 Löcher bekommen. Mehr nicht möglich. Nur 9 Löcher nicht spielbar- Clubhaus weit entfernt. " - Franz

"Der Platz hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Leider waren die Fairways und Grüns auf Grund der starken Regenfälle extrem nass. Der Platzzuschnitt war aber wirklich toll. Die Übungsanlagen wurde gerade umgebaut, was man sehen konnte, verspricht aber einiges. Wir kommen sicher bei schönerem Wetter nochmals wieder. Der Platz ist sehr hügelig und ein Buggy ist ratsam. Man wird auf der Anlage sehr gut empfangen und aufgenommen, das spricht für Qualität." - Lutz
