Two Swedish brothers, Patric and Peter Nilsson (top center) established Golf Service in 1998. Patric and Peter’s idea was to target golfers living in Scandinavia and provide them with a completegolf holiday package to include car rental, hotel accommodation, shuttle transport service, golf shares and, most importantly, discounted pre-booked green fees.
Having grown up on the Costa del Sol and acquired the language and customs, they were able to not only provide golf packages but to also communicate with the golf courses on behalf of their customers. As a result of this Patric and Peter were able to develop a relationship with their customers based on loyalty while instilling in each customer a sense of confidence in everything that Golf Service could provide.
Today, Golf Service has evolved in many ways. They book more discounted green fees with over 55 different golf courses on the Costa del Sol than any other agency on the internet or locally. They also book over 49 different golf courses on Costa de la Luz, Costa Almeria, Costa Calida, Costa Azahar, Costa Blanca and Costa Tropical.
They have worked diligently over the years to maintain a close bond with customers from the early days and are very thankful to these customers as more than 85% of Golf Service customers are returning customers or referrals of these customers.
Golf Service mainly books discounted green fees although car rental and hotel accommodation are of course available. Their clientele has grown from mainly Scandinavian to golfers from all over Europe, the majority being from the United Kingdom and also including the United States and Canada.
Golf Service is in contact either in person or by telephone with all of the golf courses on a daily basis and because of this Golf Service is able to offer their customers a more efficient service while guaranteeing the lowest price available. Customers have been able to find and book discounted green fees through Golf Service on the internet since 2001 but Patric and Peter still like to keep the personal touch involved by always replying promptly and ensuring the customer that they are available for any reason.
